Honoring Veterans Day 2024: A Personal Reflection from Rhonda Cosgriff Designs

As Veterans Day 2024 approaches, I feel especially moved to honor the meaning of this day. At Rhonda Cosgriff Designs, we’ve always valued bravery, respect, and service, and these values feel closer than ever now that my oldest child is enlisted in the Army. Being a military mom has given me a deeper connection to our veterans and the sacrifices they’ve made to keep us safe and free.

Long before my son joined the Army, I made it a priority to teach my children respect and gratitude for those who have served. Anytime we were in public and spotted a veteran, I would point them out. If there was a chance, I encouraged my son to go up to them and thank them personally. It was important to me that my kids understood the depth of sacrifice made by the men and women who serve. Being patriotic isn’t just a value we hold; it’s woven into who we are as a family.

Here at Rhonda Cosgriff Designs, our appreciation for veterans and active military isn’t just for one day a year; it’s an ongoing respect that influences everything we do. We’re deeply grateful for the freedom and opportunities we enjoy because of their commitment, and we honor that spirit in the projects we take on and the relationships we build.

This Veterans Day, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to every veteran and active-duty service member. Thank you for your courage, for your sacrifice, and for showing our families, including mine, the true meaning of service.
